About Me
-
I am Dr. Mandy Graves, a licensed therapist with years of experience specializing in marriage counseling, couples therapy, and a broad range of personal and relationship issues. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Oregon State University and currently an assistant professor and program coordinator for the Master of Science in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling Program. I am deeply committed to helping couples and individuals navigate the complexities of their relationships and personal lives.
My practice is centered on providing empathic support and effective strategies primarily in Marriage Counseling and Couples Therapy. I specialize in addressing relationship issues, helping partners understand each other better, communicate more effectively, and resolve conflicts to strengthen their connection. My therapeutic approach is tailored to the unique needs of each couple, integrating various methods to foster deeper connections and mutual respect among partners.
Beyond relationship counseling, I have an extensive background in treating anxiety, depression, and managing stress and overwhelm. I equip my clients with tools and techniques to handle these conditions, aiding them in achieving a balanced and more fulfilling life. My sensitivity and care are particularly noted in my work with individuals dealing with grief & loss, where I guide my clients through their healing process with compassion.
I also provide support and counseling for Women’s Issues and Life Transitions, assisting women in overcoming challenges related to career changes, motherhood, and personal growth. My comprehensive understanding of the dynamics in these areas enables me to help my clients navigate their paths with confidence and resilience.
I am dedicated to lifelong learning, continuously updating my skills to incorporate the latest research and best practices into my therapy sessions. This commitment ensures that my clients receive the most effective and compassionate care possible.
