INVEST IN YOU
Therapy can be a significant investment
You may have been researching the cost for therapy and thought, “I didn’t expect therapy to cost this much.” We completely understand; therapy can be a significant investment. However, when you come to our practice, you’re receiving top-tier care.
Our therapists hold advanced degrees including Master’s and Doctorate Degrees. Also, our therapists have specialized training in scientifically proven couples therapy methods along with many years or experience. Not all therapists possess the same level of expertise, and we carefully select our team here at California Couples Counseling to ensure you receive the highest quality of care. The personalized, one-on-one attention from a highly skilled therapist comes with a cost, but the value it provides is invaluable.
Investing in your relationship is worth it. You are worth it.
Your relationship and personal well-being are worth investing in. Consider the importance of your happiness, needs, and emotional health. You deserve the best possible support, and you’re worth every step of the investment toward a fulfilling, thriving relationship.
Insurance may be an option
We can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance provider to potential reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance provider and quickly verifying your coverage to see if your PPO plan may qualify for coverage.
If paying for weekly sessions feels out of reach, you can inquire about approved providers directly on your insurance plans list. When searching, make sure to ask potential therapists about their experience with couples counseling and their availability for consistent sessions.
Low-cost options are available
There are other avenues to explore for more affordable counseling. Universities, community mental health centers, and non-profits often offer sliding-scale fees based on income. These services may be staffed by therapists-in-training working under supervision as they move toward full licensure. While you may not always get to choose your therapist, asking about their experience with your specific issues and the qualifications of their supervisor can help ensure you’re in capable hands. Regular, consistent sessions—weekly or biweekly—are important for making progress, so confirm availability as you consider these options.
Choosing what’s right for you
We don’t want therapy to become another source of stress for you, especially when it comes to affordability. It’s important to find a solution that fits your needs—whether that’s our practice or a lower-cost alternative—without constantly worrying about the financial aspect. Taking time now to find a therapist who meets your needs, both in approach and price, will pay off in the long run. You and your relationship are worth it!
